Accounting Supervisor - Turkish speaking
Tasks
The Accounting Supervisor oversees all accounting-related responsibilities for the assigned entities, such as:
- Manage the month end, quarter end and year end closing under US GAAP
- Responsible for US GAAP & statutory reporting and lead the annual statutory audit activities including reconciliation between US GAAP and local GAAP
- Review with Corporate Tax on the local tax filing & declarations including corporate Income tax, VAT and all other applicable local tax
- Coordinate the internal and external audit requests
- Assist the tax team during audits and provide support to country management during government inspections
- Serve as the primary point of contact for insurance matters and contract management
- Collaborate closely with the country manager and leadership team, offering essential support for finance and accounting operations
Requirements
- University degree
- 5+ years finance/accounting leadership experience
- Proficiency in US GAAP and local GAAP / statutory / regulatory reporting
- fluent English and Turkish language
- Strong computer/systems capability
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Consciousness of control and business ethics environment
- Accounting & audit firm experience is a plus
- Knowledge of local taxation is a plus
- Certified Public Accountant, ACCA is a plus
