Our partner, a global leader in IT solutions, is looking for a motivated Accounting & Finance Specialist to join their Budapest-based team.

• Daily Operations: Manage full-scope accounting activities, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general ledger reconciliations. 
• Closing & Reporting: Drive month-end and year-end closing processes according to both Local GAAP (HAS) and IFRS standards. 
• Strategic Support: Participate in annual budgeting and forecasting, leveraging a newly established financial structure.
• Group Communication: Prepare financial reports for headquarters and external stakeholders, ensuring timely data flow to accounting agencies for tax reporting. 
• Audit Management: Act as the primary point of contact for internal, external, and tax auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations. 
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement automation or process improvements to enhance financial controls and efficiency

Elvárások / Requirements

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Hungarian Accounting Standards (HAS) and tax regulations is essential.
• IFRS Skills: Practical experience in IFRS reporting is required.
• Language: Fluency in English is required for daily collaboration with international teams and headquarters. 
• Mindset: A positive, "can-do" attitude with a hunger for learning and the ability to exercise good judgment in financial matters.
