Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant & Order Processing Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for assisting with a variety of accounting tasks while ensuring smooth and efficient order processing. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Tasks:
  • Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including processing invoices, recording transactions, and updating financial records in the accounting system
  • Maintain journals and manage the processing of travel expenses to ensure compliance with internal policies
  • Assist in the preparation and generation of monthly financial reports and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Support in accounts payable/receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections
  • Monitor and update general ledger entries and assist with month-end and year-end close activities
Order Processing:
  • Oversee and manage the entire order process, ensuring that all orders are processed efficiently and in accordance with company policies and timelines
  • Coordinate the purchasing process for projects, ensuring that all required materials are ordered and delivered on time
  • Collaborate with various teams across the Central Europe region to support order fulfillment and logistics

Requirements

  • High school diploma or associate/bachelor's degree in finance (or related field)
  • Experience in accounting, finance, or order processing is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Hungarian accounting and tax regulations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Fluency in Hungarian and a good command of English
