Pozíció leírása / Job description

In this postiton you would be a part of a team of 3, working closely with the chief accountant. Your tasks will be mostly operative accounting, keeping contact with different departments and some ad-hoc reporting.

  • Bookkeeping and reconciliation of AP/AC accounts
  • GL accounting for monthly/ yearly closings (accruals and other items)
  • Accounting of incoming and outgoing bank items (clients, suppliers)
  • Preparing payments via bank
  • Fixed assets / monthly depreciation management
  • Monthly check of inventory accounting
  • Regular daily reconciliations with clients and suppliers
  • Regular monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Support the work of other departments (Credit, Sales)
  • Preparation of statutory MNB an KSH declarations
  • Participation in external and internal audits
  • Preparing and review of tax returns (VAT, other etc.)

Elvárások / Requirements

  • Pro-active, willing to learn and grow
  • Strong team player
  • Accounting or financial education (Chartered accountant qualification or/and BSc. Degree in Finance and Accounting is an advantage)
  • Proven 2-5 years experience in accounting at an international company
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Hungarian (French or Serbian / Croatian is a big plus)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools (especially Excel - Pivot, Macro)
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform routine, occasional and complicated ad hoc tasks independently and accurately
  • Flexible approach with a strong team spirit
