Account Service Manager

The ASM (Account Service Manager) is a global role and provides operational and tactical support to customers managed within the Customer Supply Chain Organization. The role reports into the CSC Director & Head of Account Service Management and has a close corporation with Global Sales and marketing.
The role is responsible for facilitating customer and sales interface by conducting supply demand analyses, assist with quarter end and NPI support. The ASMs are also involved in customer and continuous improvement related projects targeting increased level of service and maximizing customer satisfaction. The ASMs are expected to work in close cooperation with the CSRs and the account managers supporting the same account portfolio.
The role requires close collaboration with Customers, Sales Teams, Supply Chain Planning teams, Business Groups and other functions. High customer focus, proactivity, drive for continuous improvement and strong communication-, analytical-, and problem solving skills are a must.

Task:

  • Support 2nd level Escalations globally
  • Manage allocation with customer when globally coordinated by customer
  • Regular customer logistics review meetings
  • Prepare and present SCM topics in customer meeting
  • Pro-actively review supply gaps for next Quarters globally incl allocation management with BGs
  • Analyze demand pattern & support improvement of forecast accuracy with DMs
  • Identify Sales opportunities across channels (OEM,EMS,) using contract compliance (customer demand is below Award)
  • Facilitate logistic contract discussions
  • Coordinate business ramp-up related activities
  • Lead New part qualification with customer (including PPAP, IMDS and report it to BG) as well as PCN's processing and application
  • KPI management (e.g. Track RLIP/CLIP or customer provided KPIs and corrective actions)
  • Flag opportunities to improve setup via EDI or automation
  • Continuous improvement & Complaint handling
  • New Customer implementation : Funloc setup, fulfilment method, EDI and other IT-required setup

Expectation:

  • BA/BS (undergraduate) degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in high-end customer service, supply chain & logistics or sales
  • Knowledge of supply chain management
  • Fluency in English is a prerequisite
  • Good command of MS Office applications
  • Expert command of MS Excel
  • SAP (other ERP system) knowledge
  • Customer focus, proactivity
  • Drive for continuous improvement
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills

Other:

Fluency in second language like French, German, Spanish or other is nice to have
